Lymphatic massage (MLD), stimulates the lymphatic system, which is an essential part of your immune system and removes toxins from the body. It is also deeply relaxing.
For those of you who are suffering with an impairment of the lymphatic system, an assessment, followed by a combination therapy of massage, compression, skincare and exercise is available.
The impairment can be a result of Primary (genetic predisposition) or Secondary lympoedema. Secondary lymphoedema includes working with people post cancer.
Lymphatic massage is recommended by many surgeons post surgery and helps to reduce swelling and keep fibrosis at bay. I also work with Deep Oscillation, see below, which enhances recovery.
Packages are available for intensive treatment for both lymphoedema and post surgery treatment.
Having qualified in MLD in 2014 in the Vodder method, I continued with updates through the Foeldi Clinic.
More recently, I completed my training with the Lymphedema Training Academy in Fluoroscopy Guided MLD, a new and research based technique.
Four years experience working at the NHS Oxford Lymphoedema Clinic, alongside the nurses there, together with my private work, has also given me a great insight into how the NHS clinics work. I know what is available and how I can work alongside these services, working more efficiently for you, to give you the best outcome.

Alongside my MLD/Lymphatic massage qualifcations, I am now also qualified in RESTORE Scar Therapy..
Scars are far more than what you can see on the outside of the body.
They can cause many problems. Having your scars treated, will mostly improve the appearance and feel of the scar. It may also help to relieve other issues, some of which you may never have associated with that particular scar.
